It seems like it’s been a lifetime since MSCA has had a meet-up. Unfortunately, the current spike in COVID-19 cases in Arizona doesn’t inspire confidence. Still, the current state of affairs won’t last forever, and we, once again, will be out there together.
What I enjoy most about MSCA isn’t just the driving, and the food, but meeting people from different backgrounds and walks of life, that I never expected to. I’ve met so many of you over the years (year number five this July) and have learned so much.
Things are tough for a lots of folks between the pandemic, the recession, and civil unrest. All this is forcing Americans to engage with each other in a way some may never had engaged before. It’s new and scary for some, to old and familiar for others.
However, I’m old enough to know that we’ll get through all of this too. Whether you’re a part of the majority, part of the minority, part of law enforcement, I hear you, and I see you.
Stay strong. Stay safe. Keep the faith.
